NRS Series 2 Finals

What a fantastic finish to a great series 2 we had at Tin Roof/Demonbruen! Our 4 finalists each performed a 4 song set to a packed house and thousands watching our live stream! In the end, only 1 song would be crowned the winner, and that went to Adam Sickler, with his catchy Jason Moraz style song called “The Cure”.

Adam hails from Boston, MA and entered the contest on a whim, not knowing he would end up being the final grand prize winner! He had to fly back to Nashville 2 more times, for the semi-final and then the final round. Now that is dedication!

Adam won some incredible prizes, including a beautiful Martin Acoustic Electric Guitar, an invite to perform at the Smoky Mountain Songwriter Festival, A song production and artist development package from Nashville Artist Development, a 3 year membership to Tennessee Songwriters Association International, A 1 year membership and $100 cash from Global Songwriters Connection, A great discount to the next Nashville Cool songwriter retreat, A live interview on Bobby Golomboski’s “The Iceman Show”, $50 cash and a song co-write with Sandy Ramos of “The Song Tuner.” We had a great and enthusiastic crowd watched in person at Tin Roof, and 10,000 watched the online live stream!

Mike is the founder and CEO of Crowd Music and comes to Music City by way of Chicago, where he was a successful mortgage banker.

In 2014 Mike read an article in the Wall Street Journal that opened his eyes to a massive problem.

He learned the current music industry wasn’t fairly compensating those who actually create the music we enjoy, which ultimately hurts all of us as music listeners and fans in the long run.

The more he dove in to trying to understand the problem, the more he was amazed that nobody had come up with a viable solution that would work for everyone.

And that birthed Crowd Music. Crowd Music pays Music Creators FAR MORE than any other platform for the songs they release exclusively through Crowd, and gives them more powerful exposure from a new fanbase that is financially incentivized to tell others about them. Crowd Music is the future of Music!
