NRS Series 3 Prelim 10

We had a great prelim round 10 of Nashville Rising Song Series 3 in spite of it being a stormy night in Nashvlle. We had 42 songwriters come out, and randomly picked 24 to perform their song. We did an extra round to give more an opportunity to perform their song. We again had a strong group of songwriters at this round!

Travis and Maddison will come back and join 18 other writers for the semi-final round to be held Monday, November 12, 2018 at Tin Roof Midtown. The finals will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at Tin Roof Midtown.


Jim is a Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer/Engineer and Arranger and owner of B-Side Productions.

Jim has been working in Nashville since 1989.

Jim has produced artists and projects for labels such as Curb, Word Entertainment, and Sony, as well as many of the largest publishing companies, Sony/Tree, BMG, and EMI. Jim has enjoyed working in the studio with artists such as Brad Paisley, SheDaisy, Jim Brickman, Joy Williams (Civil Wars), Phil Keaggy and many more

Jim also produced music for television, having music used on Undercover Boss, Sons Of Guns, Guys Grocery Games, America’s Top Model, MTV, Wild Celebrity Wife Swap, among many others, as well as national commercials.

Jim plays with the best Nashville area bands like The Eaglemaniacs, 12 Against Nature, Make Me Smile, Live From Ventura Boulevard, Reunion -A Tribute To The 70’s, as well as his own bands, Soul Confidant, Sam & Jim, and Jim is a founding member of the Toto tribute band, “Child’s Anthem”

Elliott Didur is an American Pop/Rock singer-songwriter and producer from the rustbelt of northeastern Ohio. At 19, Elliott has already spent more than half of his life performing on stages ranging from local clubs to 15,000 seat venues. A Guitar prodigy, he first picked up a guitar at age 7 and began to sing shortly after that. By age 12, he was wowing audiences in local Ohio clubs using a violin bow to flawlessly recreate Jimmy Page’s classic ‘Dazed and Confused’.

His recent release, “Battle Cry,” was recorded and produced in Nashville and Atlanta by Grammy nominated producer, engineer and composer Scotty Wilbanks (Need to Breathe, Third Day) at The Rockporium in Atlanta, Ga and The Bakery Nashville,Tn. Josh Reedy (Bass) and Chris Kimmerer (Drums for Thomas Rhett).

In addition to Vocals, Background Vocals, Elliott played Guitar, Sitar, and did editing.
