We finished up the open-mic portion of Series 9 with 18 songwriters who came out to share their song on the red velvet stage at The Whiskey Room Live. We had over 2000 people watching our live stream over on our Facebook Page. Be sure to like our Facebook page to keep up with our events.

Austin is the creator and owner of The Workshop Music, Nashville’s first and only 24-hour writing space. With a passion for music and those who create it, Austin has made a place where writers can come any time to hone their craft and meet other driven musicians. A songwriter himself, Austin has three songs on the self titled EP of new artist Filmore and writes extensively with Sony Recording artists Radio Romance.

JASON WYATT
Jason was the very first winner of Rising Star, when we started the contest some 8 years ago here in Franklin! Since that time, Jason was the former lead singer of the ACM nominated 4 time top 40 band “The Lost Trailers.” Jason now focuses his time developing new artists and songwriters, and has made a name for himself writing and producing projects from country to pop to Rock.
